Cromer:

A bit further afield, but if you like a bit more bustle Cromer is the place for you. A classic Victorian seaside town, situated on a cliff-top overlooking a sandy beach, there’s lots to see and do. The family friendly Lifeboat Museum provides a fascinating insight into the courageous history of saving lives at sea in Cromer. The first lifeboat was brought to Cromer in 1805 and the incredible volunteers have won 64 medals for their amazing efforts through the past 200 years.

If that’s a bit heavy, there’s the annual Crabbing Championship on the pier during the Comer and Sheringham Crab and Lobster Festival in August – anyone can enter so get your bait and line to the ready! The streets and alleys are crammed with shops and restaurants where Cromer Crab is a must-eat item on the menu.
